Built c. 1790, our farmhouse sits on 15 acres and is part of a 140 acre farm with spectacular views of the Shawangunk Mountains, nicknamed the "Gunks".  This new bed and breakfast is located near the small hamlet of Gardiner, NY, close to New Paltz, just off the New York State Thruway, 90 miles from New York City.

Marty and Thelma Kiernan, your hosts, welcome you to stay in the newly remodeled farmhouse and enjoy immaculate accommodations filled with antique furnishings, oak and wide pine floors and handmade quilts.

A full breakfast is served to you including freshly baked blueberry muffins, homemade english muffin bread, fresh fruits, jams, omelets and quiches, bacon, sausages, yogurt with granola, coffee, teas and juices.  This hearty breakfast will last you through to mid-afternoon.

Enjoy a quiet comfortable breakfast served in the farmhouse's large country kitchen, the sitting area, and weather permitting, on the enclosed porch or patio surrounded by the Blueberry Inn's perennial flower beds.

There are more things to do and places to visit in the area than anyone could possibly imagine.  Seasonal and special events change throughout the year.  Antiquing (including local auctions), the Wine Trail (one mile from Whitecliff Vineyard and winery and four miles from Rivendell Winery), specialty and unique gift shops (New Paltz and High Falls), hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, (ten minutes from Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve, who working together are able to provide and extensive trail system all year long), skydiving at the Blue Sky Ranch in Gardiner, as well as seasonal pick-your-own fruits and leaf-peeping in the fall.  But, if you are really interested in having a restful weekend anytime during the year, the Blueberry Inn offers the best place for taking in the views of the mountains (especially Millbrook Mountain and Gertie's Nose), and our gardens while relaxing on our lawns from spring through fall.  Enjoy watching deer and wild turkey walking through our farm fields, and birds at our feeders during the winter time.

Located between two wonderful restaurants (two miles from each to The Bruynswick Inn and Lombardi's) for those who like the convenience of dining close.  The restaurants in nearby New Paltz and High Falls offer many other choices.
